Default Necrosis

http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Necrosis

is this the best sunspear skill ? i think it is, considering it does 80 damage at sunspear castellan level (i think it ignores armour) . just look at the casting and recharge time. awesome i think.

"There's Nothing To Fear!" is not only the best Sunspear skill, but the best PvE-Only skill. Period.

"Save Yourselves!" is a pretty good PvE skill, too.

Necrosis is good, too.

Necrosis has been my favorite so far(being a necro and all)

My favorite PvE skill is definitely pain inverter though

Necrosis is ok enough, offering a Curse Necro or Mesmer a powerful straight damage dealer.

"There's Nothing To Fear!" is still better. Passive defense is hawt.

I'd have to agree with the above posters, the all-star hierarchy for sunspear skills goes:

1) "There's Nothing to Fear!"
2) Critical Agility
3) Necrosis

It would be #4, but people still mourn the loss of Seed Of Life.

I mourn Crit Agility becoming useful for sin primaries only. Eternal Aura => perma Lyssa/Melandru kicks ass too. Necrosis is good in general because it's usable by any primary, well better for casters anyway.

I dunno where you get all the paragon players, I never play with "There is nothing to fear".

Simply because only few people I know play a Paragon as their main char or at all.

And I am a Necro myself, so no wonder I use Necrosis.

You forgot to add the words 'in my opinion'. Not everyone will agree with you. But as for Necrosis, unless my necro is set up as a MM, she always has it equipped.

well..that's pretty stupid. It still functions the same, but now you can only use it half the time. It's the best Paragon skill in the game.

And an awesome skill to take on a support character like elementalist. It really helps out during those rough times when you're taking a lot of damage and monks can't handle it. Life barrier on entire party for 4 seconds and a heal party at the end without spec? Sure I'll take it.

racthoh's paragon bar>necrosis.

it's a nice, spammy, direct damage spell with an easy to fulfill side effect, and I found it particularly useful in vanquishing 6 man areas where the more damage you can load on support characters the better.
